Business Development

Being part of the Kelowna Jaycees will give you exposure to unique business training opportunities. Learning to run events, being part of committees, and listening to expert speakers are all opportunities that will be available to you.

An excellent example of business development training has been our annual Gentlemen’s Dinner event.  Key goals are:
• To promote corporate sponsorship between the Kelowna Unit and local businesses.
• To raise money for a local charity and the Unit.
• Provide training and leadership opportunities for the membership in areas including, media relations, sponsorship, event planning, budgeting, sales, marketing, and managing people.
